Saltist LD combines a compact , lever drag design with the free-spool ability
to
easily toss live baits and hardware.

Daiwas answer to Shimano TLD series, the Saltist TLD series Big game Reels. These are tough reels
built
substantially better than the Shimano product at a very attractive price.
Designed for bullet-proof reliability while trolling, these rugged reels will
also cast live baits like a rocket for
Tuna and dozing Billfish. Load them with mono or braid and there isn’t much that swims they can’t
