One of the current specials is the Everol  SUPER 12/20,  fully described on the Everol page, this reel is the perfect size for doing battle with a tarpon, light trolling for sailfish or stripers and particularly effective for slow trolling live bait for kingfish. A beefy reel, the Everol Super 12/20 is slightly larger than a Penn International 12 or a Shimano Trinidad 20, and a lot less costly. Experienced guides and skippers that have tried the Everol seem to agree, it has the smoothest drag the've ever tried. One noted publication  even tested the waterproof drag by immersing the reel  in saltwater, then fishing it the next morning. Perfect, no problems, worked flawlessly.  I would'nt try that but i guess they test them to the extreme. Quite a nice write up. The reel was designed primarily with the new superbraids in mind , though mono works just fine. The Everol Super 12/20 will spool  750/12 or 450/20 mono,  standard dia.  A lot more with an equivalant diameter(50 or 65lb. test) of spectra.

We fish the Everol Sup 12/20 reel mounted on a 30-50lb., 5'9"  medium action Tsunami stand up rod for grouper, AJ's, kings, wahoo, cobia. Very versatile setup!    

Recently an 185 lb. Marlin was brought to the boat using the Everol Super 12/20  with 20lb. test! A 3 hour battle ensued with the drag performing smoothly and flawlessly
